Health and Safe Use Guidelines

Version 1.0

Effective Date: August 2026

Last Updated: August 13, 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to the Iberbrain Platform. These Health and Safe Use Guidelines explain the mandatory safety rules, environmental requirements, and physical prerequisites for accessing and performing the cognitive activation exercises available within the Platform.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the exercises in the Iberbrain Platform — including proprietary cognitive programmes and those inspired by the Ronnie Gardiner Method® (RGM)—you expressly declare that you have read, understood, and freely accepted all the provisions set forth in this document.

If you do not agree with or cannot fulfill these safety guidelines, you must refrain from participating in any physical movement or rhythmic exercises available on the Platform.

2. Core Declarations and Medical Disclaimer

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and declare that:

  • The exercises available combine rhythm, music, and complex motor and cognitive challenges, which actively involve coordinated physical movement, sustained attention, bilateral coordination, and deep concentration.

  • The Iberbrain Platform is exclusively an educational, cognitive activation, and well-being tool. It is not a medical device, it does not perform clinical assessments, it does not monitor health status, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychological evaluation, or therapeutic rehabilitation.

  • No specific therapeutic, medical, clinical, or physical rehabilitation outcomes are guaranteed through the use of the Platform.

  • Your participation in the exercises is strictly voluntary, and you are solely responsible for assessing whether your current physical and mental condition is appropriate for performing them safely.

3. Physical Condition and Health Prerequisites

You declare that, to the best of your knowledge, you are in an appropriate physical and overall health condition to perform movement-based and rhythmic coordination exercises.

If you suffer from any medical, neurological, cardiovascular, orthopaedic, vestibular, or other health conditions that may affect your balance, motor skills, or ability to participate safely, you must consult a healthcare professional before initiating any exercise module. Where appropriate or recommended by a professional, you must perform the exercises under the direct, continuous assistance of a caregiver, family member, or another responsible adult.

4. Safe Physical Environment and Equipment

To minimize the risk of accidents, loss of balance, or physical injury during practice, you undertake to comply with the following environmental and equipment guidelines:

4.1 Seated Exercises

If choosing or required to perform the exercises while seated, you must use a stable, fixed chair with a secure backrest that allows both of your feet to remain firmly flat on the floor.

  • Do NOT use chairs with wheels, swivel mechanisms, folding mechanisms, or unstable bases.

  • Do NOT use chairs with restrictive armrests if they impede the free, wide movement of your upper limbs.

  • Do NOT use stools, benches, or chairs without backrests, as they significantly increase the risk of losing balance, fatigue, or falling backwards.

4.2 Standing Exercises

If choosing to perform the exercises while standing, you must ensure that your physical balance is entirely stable. You must keep a secure chair or a stable support surface nearby to hold onto if you experience sudden fatigue or instability.

4.3 Surroundings and Footwear
  • The Space: You must ensure that your immediate practice environment is completely flat, well-lit, and free of physical obstacles, including loose carpets, rugs, electrical cords, low furniture, or slippery surfaces.

  • Footwear: You must wear appropriate, closed, non-slip sports shoes that provide adequate ankle and heel support. Do not perform the exercises barefoot, in socks, in slippers, or in high-heeled shoes.

5. Limits of Practice and Protocol for Discomfort

You undertake to strictly respect your own physical and cognitive limits. You must STOP exercising immediately if you experience:

  • Pain, acute muscle strain, or joint discomfort;

  • Dizziness, vertigo, lightheadedness, or loss of orientation;

  • Nausea, shortness of breath, or chest tightness;

  • Any other physical or cognitive symptom that you consider unusual or abnormal.

If any of these symptoms occur, seat yourself safely in a stable chair, discontinue use of the Platform, and seek immediate assistance from a caregiver or a medical professional if the symptoms persist.

6. Institutional and Third-Party (B2B) Responsibilities

Where the Iberbrain Platform is implemented or used within institutional settings—including but not limited to schools, senior care homes, rehabilitation clinics, day centers, or corporate environments—the following mandatory rules apply:

  • Consents: The institutional client remains solely and exclusively responsible for obtaining all prior legal authorizations and informed consents (including from parents, legal guardians, or tutors) required for the enrollment, data registration, and physical participation of their students, residents, or users.

  • Environmental Safety: The institution is solely responsible for ensuring that the physical rooms where exercises are projected or practiced fulfill all the space, safety, non-slip flooring, lighting, and hazard-free requirements described in Section 4.

  • Supervision: The institution must provide qualified professionals, educators, or certified facilitators to continuously monitor participants, adapt the exercises to the specific demographic needs of the group, maintain an appropriate practitioner-to-staff ratio, and enforce the immediate stop protocol in case of fatigue or distress.
