Thank you for choosing our Platform.

Iberbrain is an independent digital platform dedicated to cognitive activation through movement, rhythm, cognition, creativity and structured multisensory experiences.

Our mission is to make cognitive activation more accessible, engaging and scalable, helping people improve focus, coordination, cognitive performance and well-being throughout life.

These Terms and Conditions explain how the Platform may be accessed and used, as well as the rights and responsibilities of both Iberbrain and its users.

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Our Principles

Everything we develop at Iberbrain is guided by five core principles:

These principles shape every programme, feature and service available through the Platform.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

Platform means the Iberbrain website, web application, mobile applications and all related digital services.

User means any individual or organisation authorised to access the Platform.

Content means all text, graphics, photographs, illustrations, videos, audio recordings, tutorials, exercises, programmes, documentation and other materials available through the Platform.

Programme means a structured learning, cognitive activation or educational pathway available within the Platform.

Module means an individual area or collection of content that may be assigned to a user.

Services means all digital services provided through the Platform.

1. About Iberbrain

Iberbrain is an independent digital platform dedicated to cognitive activation through movement.

The Platform combines movement, rhythm, cognition, creativity and multisensory learning experiences designed to stimulate the brain and promote attention, memory, coordination, adaptability, well-being and lifelong learning.

The Platform currently includes, among other features:

  • Ronnie Gardiner Method (RGM) programmes;
  • Creativity programmes;
  • Brain Challenges;
  • Guided cognitive activation sessions;
  • Educational resources;
  • Video tutorials;
  • Audio guidance;
  • Digital, hybrid and on-site programmes.

Iberbrain is designed for individual users as well as organisations, including companies, educational institutions, healthcare providers, rehabilitation centres, senior care organisations, activity centres and other professional environments.

The Platform continuously evolves and new programmes, modules, technologies and services may be introduced over time.

2. How Iberbrain Works

Iberbrain is a curated digital platform.

Unlike platforms that allow unrestricted self-registration, access to Iberbrain is managed directly by Iberbrain to ensure an appropriate experience for every user and institution.

User accounts are created manually following an internal approval process.

Once an account has been created, Iberbrain assigns programmes, modules and permissions according to the user's profile, institutional agreement or authorised access level.

Not every user has access to the same programmes or functionality.

Depending on the authorised access, users may participate in:

  • guided cognitive activation sessions;
  • educational programmes;
  • creativity activities;
  • brain challenges;
  • digital learning experiences;
  • hybrid programmes;
  • on-site programmes;
  • multimedia learning resources.

Some programmes may include audiovisual content hosted by trusted third-party platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo.

Such content remains hosted by those providers and is integrated solely to support learning, cognitive activation and the overall user experience.

3. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

If you access the Platform on behalf of a company, school, healthcare institution or any other organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organisation.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

4. Eligibility

The Platform may be used by:

  • individual users;
  • companies;
  • educational institutions;
  • healthcare organisations;
  • rehabilitation centres;
  • senior care organisations;
  • activity centres;
  • other authorised organisations.

Users must comply with all applicable laws within their jurisdiction.

Where required by law, minors may only use the Platform under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, teacher or other responsible adult.

Certain programmes may also require supervision by qualified professionals depending on their intended use and participant profile.

5. User Accounts

Access to the Platform is controlled directly by Iberbrain.

Unlike open-access platforms, Iberbrain does not provide automatic public account registration.

Accounts may be created following:

  • a direct request submitted through Iberbrain;
  • an institutional agreement;
  • an authorised invitation;
  • or another approved access process.

The creation of an account remains entirely at Iberbrain's discretion.

Iberbrain reserves the right to approve, refuse, suspend or terminate access whenever reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, its users or its legitimate interests.

Each account receives access only to the programmes, modules and permissions assigned by Iberbrain.

Access permissions may be modified whenever necessary.

6. Authentication

To protect user accounts and ensure the security of the Platform, Iberbrain uses email-based authentication through one-time verification codes.

When signing in, users receive a temporary verification code at the email address associated with their account.

The verification code:

  • is valid for a limited period;
  • may only be used once;
  • must remain confidential;
  • must not be shared with third parties.

Users are responsible for maintaining access to their registered email address and for protecting their email account against unauthorised access.

If users suspect unauthorised access to their account, they should notify Iberbrain without undue delay.

7. Programmes, Modules and Permissions

Iberbrain provides access to different programmes, modules and digital resources according to each user's authorised profile.

The Platform is designed to support a variety of users and organisations. Consequently, the programmes, content and functionality available may differ between users.

Depending on the permissions assigned by Iberbrain, users may have access to:

  • cognitive activation programmes;
  • Ronnie Gardiner Method (RGM) exercises;
  • creativity activities;
  • brain challenges;
  • educational content;
  • multimedia tutorials;
  • audio guidance;
  • hybrid learning experiences;
  • on-site programme support;
  • additional modules introduced in future versions of the Platform.

The assignment of programmes and permissions is managed exclusively by Iberbrain.

Access to one programme does not automatically grant access to other programmes or future content.

Iberbrain reserves the right to introduce new programmes, modules, services and technologies as the Platform evolves.

8. User Responsibilities

Users agree to use the Platform responsibly, respectfully and in accordance with these Terms.

Users are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information where requested;
  • maintaining the confidentiality of their authentication credentials;
  • using the Platform only for its intended purposes;
  • complying with all applicable laws and regulations;
  • respecting the intellectual property rights of Iberbrain and third parties;
  • using the Platform in a manner that does not interfere with its operation or the experience of other users.

Where collaborative or community features become available in the future, users are expected to interact respectfully and appropriately with others.

9. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

  • copy, reproduce or redistribute Platform content without permission;
  • modify or reverse engineer the Platform;

  • interfere with the operation or security of the Platform;
  • use automated tools to extract or collect Platform content;
  • upload malicious software or harmful code;

Users must also refrain from any activity that could damage the reputation, integrity or security of Iberbrain.

Failure to comply with these Terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of access.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights relating to the Platform are owned by Iberbrain or are used under valid licences.

This includes, without limitation:

  • software;
  • source code;
  • user interface design;
  • graphics;
  • illustrations;
  • icons;
  • animations;
  • exercises;
  • educational programmes;
  • documentation;
  • original videos;
  • original audio recordings;
  • tutorials;
  • texts;
  • databases;
  • logos;
  • trademarks owned by Iberbrain.

Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.

No ownership rights are transferred to users.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, publish or commercially exploit any Platform content without prior written permission from Iberbrain or the relevant rights holder.

11. Ronnie Gardiner Method®

Certain programmes available through Iberbrain are designed to support the practice of the Ronnie Gardiner Method® (RGM).

Ronnie Gardiner Method® and RGM® are intellectual property belonging to their respective owner and are protected by applicable trademark and intellectual property laws.

Iberbrain fully recognises and respects these rights.

The Platform is an independent digital solution designed to support cognitive activation through structured movement-based experiences and may include programmes based on, inspired by or compatible with the principles of the Ronnie Gardiner Method®, where authorised and appropriate.

Nothing within the Platform shall be interpreted as claiming ownership of the Ronnie Gardiner Method®, its trademarks or associated intellectual property.

Users remain responsible for ensuring that any professional use of the Method complies with any certification, licensing or authorisation requirements that may apply in their jurisdiction.

12. Audiovisual Content and Third-Party Services

To enhance learning, cognitive activation and user engagement, Iberbrain may integrate audiovisual content from different sources.

Such content is incorporated solely to support the educational and cognitive activation experience provided by the Platform.

12.1 Iberbrain Original Content

The Platform contains original content created and owned by Iberbrain.

This includes, among other materials:

  • instructional videos;
  • exercise demonstrations;
  • tutorial videos;
  • educational recordings;
  • voice guidance;
  • original audio recordings;
  • explanatory materials.

These materials are protected by copyright and may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed or commercially used without prior written permission.

12.2 Creative Commons Music

Certain exercises may include music distributed under Creative Commons licences or other licences that expressly permit such use.

Where applicable, Iberbrain complies with the attribution requirements and licence conditions established by the respective copyright holders.

The licensing terms applicable to each work remain those defined by its original author.

12.3 YouTube Embedded Content

Some programmes include videos that are hosted exclusively on YouTube.

These videos remain entirely hosted, streamed and controlled by YouTube.

Iberbrain does not host, reproduce, copy, modify or redistribute YouTube audiovisual content.

Videos are displayed exclusively through YouTube's official embedded player.

Whenever permitted by YouTube, users may open the original video directly on YouTube through the embedded player.

12.4 YouTube IFrame Player API

To improve synchronisation between cognitive exercises and audiovisual playback, Iberbrain may use the official YouTube IFrame Player API.

The Platform uses the API exclusively to interact with the embedded player, including functions such as:

  • play;
  • pause;
  • playback status;
  • synchronisation of exercise progression with the playback state of the embedded player.

Iberbrain does not:

  • download YouTube videos;
  • extract audio;
  • alter audiovisual content;
  • remove advertisements;
  • bypass YouTube functionality;
  • circumvent YouTube policies.

The audiovisual content remains entirely under YouTube's control and is governed by YouTube's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

12.5 Vimeo Content

Certain instructional videos available within the Platform are hosted on Vimeo.

These videos may include original educational content produced and owned by Iberbrain.

Where Vimeo-hosted content belongs to third parties, all applicable intellectual property rights remain with the respective owners.

12.6 Third-Party Availability

Certain Platform functionality depends on external services provided by third parties.

These services may include, among others:

  • YouTube;
  • Vimeo;
  • email service providers;
  • cloud hosting providers;
  • analytics providers.

Iberbrain has no control over the availability, functionality or future policies of these third-party services.

If a third-party provider changes, restricts or discontinues its services, certain Platform functionality may become unavailable without liability on the part of Iberbrain.

13. Health, Education and Well-being Disclaimer

The Iberbrain Platform is designed to promote cognitive activation, learning, movement, coordination and general well-being.

The Platform is intended exclusively for educational, cognitive activation and well-being purposes.

Iberbrain does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, rehabilitation therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychological treatment or any other healthcare service.

Nothing within the Platform should be interpreted as medical advice or as a substitute for professional healthcare.

Users should always seek advice from qualified healthcare professionals regarding any medical condition, diagnosis or treatment.

Participation in any activity available through the Platform is voluntary and should always be adapted to each individual's abilities, health condition and personal circumstances.

Children, older adults and individuals with cognitive, neurological or physical limitations should participate under the supervision of a responsible adult, caregiver or qualified professional whenever appropriate.

14. Safe Participation

Users are responsible for participating safely in all Platform activities.

Before participating, users should ensure that:

  • the surrounding environment is safe;
  • sufficient space is available for movement;
  • clothing and footwear are appropriate where applicable;
  • activities are adapted to their physical and cognitive abilities.

Users should immediately stop any activity if they experience pain, dizziness, discomfort or any unusual symptoms.

Additional recommendations may be provided through Iberbrain's Health & Safe Use Guidelines, which complement these Terms and Conditions.

15. User Feedback

Iberbrain welcomes suggestions for improving the Platform.

Users may voluntarily submit comments, ideas, recommendations or feedback regarding programmes, features or services.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any feedback submitted may be used by Iberbrain without restriction and without any obligation to provide compensation, acknowledgement or ownership rights.

Submission of feedback does not transfer any ownership rights to the user over future Platform developments.

16. Future Technologies

Iberbrain continuously evolves.

The Platform may introduce new technologies and digital services over time, including:

  • artificial intelligence;
  • adaptive learning systems;
  • personalised recommendations;
  • data-driven cognitive insights;
  • accessibility technologies;
  • new multimedia formats;

17. Availability of the Platform

Temporary interruptions may occur due to:

  • internet connectivity;
  • cloud infrastructure;

  • circumstances beyond Iberbrain's reasonable control.

18. Limitation of Liability

  • internet failures;
  • cloud service interruptions;
  • third-party platform failures;
  • loss of business opportunities;
  • loss of profits;
  • loss of data not caused by Iberbrain's negligence.

  • the availability of YouTube, Vimeo or other third-party platforms;
  • third-party audiovisual content;
  • changes to third-party services;
  • internet connectivity;
  • user devices;
  • misuse of the Platform by users.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by mandatory applicable law.

19. Privacy and Data Protection

Iberbrain is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of its users.

By using the Platform, users acknowledge that they have read the Privacy Policy.

20. Changes to the Platform and these Terms

The Platform will continue to evolve.

Iberbrain may introduce new programmes, services, technologies, educational content, accessibility features and digital functionality over time.

These Terms and Conditions may be updated whenever reasonably necessary to:

  • reflect Platform improvements;
  • introduce new services;

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the country in which Iberbrain is legally established at the relevant time.

Until Iberbrain is formally incorporated as a legal entity, these Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable to its operator.

Where mandatory consumer protection legislation applies in the user's country of residence, those statutory rights remain unaffected.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the country in which Iberbrain is legally established, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
